Western blot was performed using Anti-DOPA Decarboxylase Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47512) and a ~54 kDa band corresponding to DOPA Decarboxylase was observed in cell lines and tissues tested except Mouse Placenta, Mouse Ovary, HEL 92.1.7 and SK-O-V3 which are reported to be negative. Whole cell extracts (40 µg lysate) of Mouse Kidney (Lane 1), Rat Kidney (Lane 2), Mouse Placenta (Lane 3) Low expressing as reported, Mouse Ovary (Lane 4) (low expressing) as reported, IMR-32 (Lane 5), SH-SY5Y (Lane 6), Caco-2 (Lane 7), HEL 92.1.7 (Lane 8) (Low expressing) and SK-O-V3 (Lane 9) (Low expressing) were electrophoresed using Novex® NuPAGE® 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Rabbit anti-Goat IgG Heavy Chain Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27014, 1:4000 dilution), using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).
